The Weltool W5pro Thunderbolt is an enhanced version of the W5 LEP laser lamp, with 990 lumens and 2,020,000 cd beams reaching up to 2,842 metres. The W5 is powered by two 22500 / 2400 mAh lithium-ion batteries (charger required).

To extend the operating time, an optional BB5 battery tube can be used, which is supplied with 2 x 21700 lithium ion batteries. Two levels of illumination High/Low are available and can be selected via an electronic side switch (with battery indicator). The W5pro has a temperature control function to ensure the torch does not overheat.

The W5 Pro LEP light source has a high energy density and produces a very bright, focused beam of light when passing through the convex lens. This light source meets the requirements of IEC 62471 Exception and IEC 60825 Class 1. The W5pro is specifically designed for special applications and is ideal for search and rescue, mountain rescue, remote signalling and drone defence applications.
