Walther Premium Skinner has a full tang construction . This term describes knives whose blade and handle pin are made of one piece of steel. High-quality stainless steel

The knife blade is made of the popular 440C stainless steel , hardened in the range of 57-59 HRC . Thanks to the increased carbon content, the steel is resistant to wear, retains its working sharpness for a long time, and sharpens relatively quickly and easily, which is important in the case of a knife for field work. The blade is finished with a classic satin-finishing (polishing) technique, giving the blade an elegant look.

Skinning blade

The wide, flat-grind blade has a clearly rounded belly, which, combined with the functional drop point profile , ensures excellent cutting parameters and high resistance to stress. There are transverse millings on the back and front of the spine , which create a stable point of support for the fingers. This popular convenience allows for comfortable and precise operation of the knife, which is crucial for a hunter when hunting game. The massive 3.8 mm thick blade has a flat back, so it can be used for heavier field work, e.g. wood baton making or lighting a fire using tinder.

Traditional handle

The knife has a stylish handle consisting of a profiled cladding made of oiled walnut wood , a polished crossguard, brass spacers and a steel fitting, which together with the crossguard improve the grip and prevent the knife from slipping from the hand. The knife is carried in a leather sheath fastened with a metal snap.
