The Buck Paradigm Shift Auto knife was designed to be a modern day EDC knife. The patented Shift Mechanism™ allows you to quickly and effortlessly open your hand. Simply slide the blade lock with your sore finger and the blade is automatically sensed. The lock does not close with a lid, but it does not close with a blade from accidental opening when carried in a pocket.

The blades are made from high quality powder steel. Steel S35VN is subjected to anti-corrosion self-regulating elements when conducting corrosion resistance. It is resistant to such asphyxiation, like C30B steel, does not overwhelm with its repeating bay. For optimal performance, it is contaminated with Rc 59-61 on Rockwell glass. The left side profile of the Drop Point features an enlarged end cap and good properties.

The linings are made of virtually non-deformable G10 laminate. Fiberglass impregnated with epoxy resin and compressed under high pressure acquires very high mechanical strength, chemical resistance and heat resistance.
