The Fenix Hm51R Ruby is the extended version of the Fenix HM50R. The main difference? The HR51R is enhanced with a white and red light, has a beam distance of 85 meters and is enhanced with an s.o.s function. Its compact size and low weight make it an inconspicuous companion during camping, mountain climbing or hiking trips. Because of its solid construction it can endure the most miserable conditions.

The aluminium casing is designed as such that it can handle cold circumstances very well. Perfect when you need a good, reliable light in winter or in the mountains. The casing is attached to the head band with a silicon holder. You can take the light from the holder to end up with an individual mini flashlight. Very practical!

The Fenix Hm51R derives its strength from the (included!) 16340-battery. A small Li-ion cell that can make the light shine about 1 hour and twenty minutes in the highest mode. In the lowest mode it can last over 60 hours. You can charge the battery inside the light itself with the included micro-USB cable. The side switch has been enhanced with a coloured LED light that shows you the current battery status. Of course you can also exchange the 16340 battery with a CRr123A battery. These can handle low temperatures even better. With its beam of up to 500 lumens you will have enough light in almost all circumstances. For shorter distances you can limit the beam to only 3 lumens. As such you save battery but will still be able to see in a dark tent.

Please note: in the battery casing you will find a small plastic disc. This disc needs to be removed before you can use the head torch.
