Nitecore GEM10UV UV LED flashlight with adjustable brightness for gemstone identification

Nitecore introduces the new GEM series of flashlights, designed for the precise identification of various gemstones. GEM series flashlights are extremely useful in examining jade, amber, diamonds, and many other stones, serving as an indispensable tool for jewelry experts and antique enthusiasts.

The GEM10UV model, one of the offerings in this series, utilizes a high-performance UV LED emitting ultraviolet light with a maximum output of up to 3000 mW at a wavelength of 365 nm. Thanks to the direct mounting of the diode in a 9 mm diameter lens, the flashlight is perfectly suited for identifying diamonds, amber, jewelry, and for fluorescence tests.

The GEM10UV lamp features a compact size, allowing it to be carried in a pants pocket or backpack. At just 135 mm long and powered by a popular 18650 lithium-ion battery, the lamp offers a maximum runtime of up to 500 hours in minimum mode. It is also possible to power it with CR123 and RCR123 batteries, although this shortens the total operating time.

The GEM series of flashlights, including the GEM10UV model, is equipped with a practical rotary switch that allows for stepless brightness adjustment ranging from 5mW to 3000mW. The switch is made of aluminum alloy, and special ribs on the outer part ensure comfortable handling of the flashlight.
