CPM MagnaCut - next generation steel in the Benchmade 18060 Adira folder

The blade with a utilitarian Drop Point profile is 98 mm long and made of CPM MagnaCut super steel produced using powder technology. The main difference between CPM MagnaCut steel and other stainless steels is the amount of chromium. The elimination of chromium carbides from the steel composition allows for obtaining a delicate microstructure, making sharpening CPM MagnaCut much easier compared to steel with similar wear resistance.

CPM MagnaCut combines the strength of CPM-4V, corrosion resistance of CPM-20CV, retention of CPM-CruWear/ CPM-4V and an impressive hardness of as much as 62 HRC, thanks to which it is currently considered one of the best steels in the world used in factory-produced knives.

The blade has a matte Stonewash finish (bath in abrasive stones), which effectively masks any scratches or abrasions to the blade caused during use.

A fragment of the blade's back is covered with the so-called Upper Jimping, i.e. ribs that allow you to safely rest your thumb. This makes it easier to manipulate the folder, especially when doing work requiring greater precision and pressure.

Reliable lock in Benchmade folding knives

The blade lock is, of course, Axis Lock, the flagship mechanism of the Benchmade brand, valued for its great resistance to loads, insensitivity to dirt and ease of use.

The blade can be conveniently unfolded with one hand using the double-sided orange pin, so when taken out of the pocket, the knife is immediately ready for use.

The linings of the Benchmade Adira folding knife are made of deep blue Grivory material.

Profiled linings with anti-slip texturing ensure a secure grip of the knife even with wet or dirty hands, which is extremely important when using the folder in a water environment.

Clip for attaching to your pocket

A clip with a reversal option (left/right) allows you to conveniently carry the knife in your pants pocket.

There is also a hole in the handle for attaching a rope or paracord braid. Together with the Benchmade folder, the user receives an orange paracord sling.

The Benchmade 18060 Adira folding knife is a proposition for people who value functionality useful while fishing or sailing, combined with elegant design and the use of the highest quality materials.
