High-quality natural mineral oil from the German company Herbertz Solingen. Recommended for use during the sharpening process. Designed for stone sharpeners (natural and synthetic). When sharpening on hand whetstones, water or oil is most often used, but you need to be consistent. Stones that we start using with oil should not be used with water and vice versa.
The oils used during sharpening are special mineral oils with appropriate parameters. During sharpening, metal filings (remains from the sharpened tool) are deposited on the surface of the whetstone, and the oil prevents the pores of the stone from clogging. Properly selected oil ensures the long life of the stone and the effectiveness of the process itself.
