Civivi Elementum is a handy folding knife, created for EDC sets. The combination of minimalist form, precision of workmanship and high-quality materials gave a more than satisfactory effect. The folder will appeal to both collectors and keen enthusiasts of sharp steel, as well as those who are looking for a reliable and durable tool. It is worth mentioning that Civivi Elementum knives were appreciated and won the Best Buy of The Year 2021 award at the Blade Show.

The blade of the Civivi Elementum is made of  D2 steel . Thanks to the high admixture of chromium, the steel is durable and hard. Hardening to  59-61 HCR  makes it resistant to abrasion.

Civivi Elementum folding knife – blade 

The knife has a  Drop Point blade. The small thickness of the blade combined with the high and concave grind makes the knife cut very well. A fragment of the spine of the blade was covered with the so-called upper jimping, i.e.  corrugation, allowing you to safely rest your thumb there. This makes it easier to manipulate the folder, especially when doing work requiring greater precision and pressure.

The blade was satin-finished. 

Civivi Elementum folding knife – bearings, flipper and liner lock

The folder is equipped with  ceramic ball bearings that support the operation of the knife opening mechanism. Thanks to the proven liner lock, the tool is safe and reliable. 

The knife opens with  a flipper. When the blade comes out of the handle, the latter forms a kind of guard, preventing the hand from slipping onto the blade.

Civivi Elementum folding knife and synthetic handle

The Civivi Elementum handle is made of  green-tinted G10 material  - a composite of fiberglass and synthetic resin, light and resistant to mechanical damage. The rough texture of the lining  makes the knife fit well even in a sweaty hand.

Thanks to the open  backed  design, the tool can be cleaned and oiled without any major problems. There is a hole for a rope or leash in the lower part of the handle, and a small brand logo in the upper part. 

Civivi Elementum – clip and case

The manufacturer also ensured convenient transport of the knife by equipping it with  a clip. It is designed so that the tool almost does not protrude from the pocket and is not conspicuous.  

The folder can also be carried in a zippered  nylon case. Civivi even remembered about a microfiber cloth that will help clean the tool.
