The Nitecore CI6 Chameleon features two primary lights sources. A Cree XP-G2 white output with a maximum output of 440 lumens and a 1.5 watt Infrared LED which outputs 1500mW, 850nm. The dual side switch makes selecting the required output easy and also includes a built in power indicator to show the status of the battery. In addition to the primary outputs there are secondary low level red, green and blue LEDs.

• Infrared is used in night vision equipment when there is insufficient visible light to see. Night vision devises operate through a process involving the conversion of ambient light photons into electrons that are then amplified by a chemical and electrical process and then converted back into visible light. Infrared light sources can be used to augment the available ambient light for conversion by night vision devices, increasing in-the-dark visibility without actually using a visible light source.
• The CI6 can be gun mounted and is compatible with the Nitecore RSW-1 remote pressure switch. The battery chamber is spring loaded at both ends to ensure good impact absorption.
• The 40mm diameter Nitecore filters & diffusers fit the CI6.
• Powered by 1x18650 or 2xRCR123 Li-ion rechargeable cells or 2xCR123A single use cells.
