The Nitecore TM38 Lite has a maximum output of 1800 lumens from the Cree XHP35 HI D4 LED and is powered by 4 x 18650 batteries. The TM38 Lite is the smaller version of the TM38, powered by 4 rechargeable Li-ion batteries, rather than the NBP68 HD battery pack that comes with the TM38 model.
The TM38 design is the next step up from Nitecore's TM36 with an increased beam intensity of 160% and an additional 300 meter increase in beam distance! The flashlight offers an excellent reach of 1400 meters, providing an ideal searchlight for outdoor activities. The flashlight features five brightness levels ranging from 50 to 1800 lumens, plus SOS, strobe and location beacon, which are split across two modes. The Search mode has low to high output and the daily mode features turbo and high.
The flashlight has an onboard LED screen which provides information on battery level, voltage, operating temperature, remaining runtime and lumen and beam distance of the specified mode. In addition, the TM38 Lite is rechargeable, removing the requirement for a separate charger.
