The L30 Gen II is Acebeam's most powerful tactical flashlight. Based on the CREE XHP70.2 LED and the possibility to use a 3.7V 21700 lithium battery it makes the L30 capable of delivering 4000 ANSI/FL1 lumen. The upgrade from 20700 battery to a 21700 battery is the main difference with the previous generation L30.
The beamdistance is up to 373 meters, because as the XHP70.2 LED is very big, the beam is a bit more widespread than the beam of the L16. But by using a 21700 battery Acebeam has made sure that the L30 Gen II has a good runtime. The 21700 battery has improved it significantly.
Also this battery can be recharged inside the L30 Gen II through the micro-USB port.

- Please note:
- For the L30 to work at Peak Performance 4000 lumens it needs to be powered by a battery that can deliver enough ampere. So for instance the ACEBEAM 20700 (4250mAh) or ARC18650H-310A (3100mAh) battery or the the same batteries of other brands.
- Please use ACEBEAM original 18650/20700 batteries with PCB protection with 4 MOSFETs installed or a high drain 18650/20700 battery without PCB protection. (When using the normal 18650 battery with PCB protection which has less than 4 MOSFETs installed, it will work at 1000-2000 lumens; when using 2 x CR123A batteries, the Max output could reach only 1500lms, so that is not really recommended.)
